Spring 2012 undergraduate course + Germany study abroad

Here is an opportunity for Purdue CGT undergraduate students:

You can take a course with me (an independent study) that can lead to spending 10 days in Germany this summer at very low cost for you.

Here is how it works:

Take the Independent Study during Spring 2011. Earn a letter grade and 3 credit hours.

In the Independent Study, you will work on preparing projects to submit to the Mediale Interactive Media conference in Darmstadt, Germany. You can submit interactive media, games, animations, films, or work on the conference website.

The top 5 students (who are willing to travel) from the Independent Study will go to the conference with me in May 2012.

We will spend 10 days in Germany. Your travel will be heavily sponsored by a grant I received. Each student will pay an estimated $1,500-$2,000 for 10 days in Germany. For this experience, you will earn 3 Study Abroad credit hours and a letter grade.
